Driving Change is an on-going project focused on distracted driving. It is run by psychologists at the Open University, who work closely with academics at other institutions to produce and share evidence relating to the effects of distracted driving.

“The research by Dr Gemma Briggs and Dr Graham Hole has added important new insight to the dangers of hands-free phone use, which we have utilised in our campaigning efforts to raise awareness of these dangers and seek behavioural, and ultimately legislative, change. We have shared this research with government and parliamentary stakeholders in meetings and with other online audiences through dissemination on social, our website and through email communications.
